Description:
Tabil is a traditional Tunisian spice blend often used with harissa. In Tunisia, almost every family has its own recipe for making this popular spice. The mixture tastes slightly spicy and has a sweet and spicy fragrance. In Tunisia, people use it for stews, tajines and soups.

Usage:
You can add the mixture to the dish at the very beginning of the preparation, but then you should cook it at low heat in order not to destroy the flavors of the individual spices.

Ingredients:
Pepper, coriander, ginger, cayenne pepper, fennel, nutmeg, clove, anise, cassia cinnamon.

earthy, fruity with slight spiciness.
