Product information "Gourmet Pepper"
also: tellicherry pepper, thalassery pepper
Description:
What makes our black Tellicherry pepper special is the timing of the harvest. Generally, for the production of black pepper, unripe berries are dried, whereby a fermentation occurs due to pepper's own enzymes, which is responsible for the black coloration. When Tellicherry pepper is harvested, individual berries are picked at a later harvest time (when the berries turn orange-yellow) and then processed. The berries are therefore also somewhat larger and much stronger in flavor than conventional black pepper.
Pepper goes well with almost all dishes.

almost all spices
