Product information "Piment d'Espelette"
also: Espelette Chili, Gorria
Description:
As the name suggests, this chile got its name from the place where it is grown, Espelette, on the Atlantic coast of France. Piment d'Espelette is the only spice to bear the A.O.C. seal, which is reserved only for this chili as an identification of regional origin (similar to Parmesan).
The chili has a slight pungency and is therefore particularly well suited as a table condiment. Its fruity, earthy aroma goes well with all dishes that can tolerate moderate spiciness and should retain its characteristic flavor.

Use the chili in quantity to taste.
