Description:
To make candied ginger, young ginger roots are boiled down to a thick syrup, dried and rolled in a little sugar. It tastes fruity, sweet and slightly spicy. Candied ginger is either eaten raw or used to flavour certain cakes.

Usage:
To use in pastries, you can crush the cubes with a knife and fold them into the batter.
