Description:
Bamboo salt has been used in South Korea for many years by Buddhist monks as a ritual healing salt. To produce the specialty, the sea salt is filled into bamboo tubes, fired at over 1000 °C, then dried and ground to a powdery fineness.
The special consistency makes bamboo salt an ideal finger salt. Very good for seasoning raw vegetables and salads.
Usage:
The salt can either be crushed with the fingers and spread over the food or applied powder-fine and evenly with a sieve.
