Description:
Porcini mushrooms are among the highest quality edible mushrooms. The excellent, characteristic taste refines dark sauces for meat dishes and cream or cream sauces, for example, to pork medallions or egg noodles. Besides, they belong in any reasonable mushroom risotto.

Usage:
Soak the porcini mushrooms in hot water for at least half an hour, or cook them in liquid. They gain considerably in volume and weight. The "soaking water" also tastes very aromatic and can be used to deglaze sauces and roasts! You should always use mushrooms well heated.

The powder is particularly suitable for seasoning, for example, rather neutral tasting Chamignons from the supermarket.
