Product information "Sepia ink"
also: cuttlefish ink
Description:
Sepia ink is a natural coloring agent used to prepare pasta, savory pastries, risotto and many other dishes. The powder has a slight fishy aroma. Maltodextrin serves the spray-dried powder as a carrier for the color, and sea salt as a release agent.
Usage:
Dissolve the sepia ink powder in a small amount of water, and then mix it into the ingredients/meal. The ink powder is strongly coloring. Small amounts are usually sufficient. We recommend 2 tsp per 100g of flour. The powder should be stored in a cool and dry place.
