Description:
The very hot Habanero Red Savina is popular for Mexican and U.S. dishes. In Caribbean cuisine it replaces its close relative Scotch Bonnet. Habanero chilies have a tropical fruity aroma and go well with tomatoes but also tropical fruits like mangoes or limes. Inexperienced chili eaters should use habanero sparingly. The whole pods become soft when cooked in liquid and can be eaten. For seasoning, the ground or crushed varieties are better.
