Description:
Tasmanian pepper leaves are a trendy spice in Australian nouvelle cuisine, which reinterprets and combines culinary influences from around the world. Originating from bush cuisine, mountain pepper leaves have a slight scent of mint and herbs, a woody, resinous flavor with a mild heat, and an aroma reminiscent of pepper.
The leaves are often used as an ingredient in meat marinades, but also pair very well with salad dressings and yogurt-based dips.

The leaves are not particularly heat-resistant and should therefore be added just before serving.
